An energy audit is a structured approach to measuring your home's performance and diagnosing the trouble spots.

We use sophisticated instruments to measure air flow and temperature gradients and pinpoint where energy loss occurs.  Using state-of-the-art analysis, our home energy audit assesses every part of your home and gives you specific recommendations for improving its efficiency.

Here's what you can expect:

Test for sources of building air leakage.  Assess insulation effectiveness, including shielding, compression, and voids.

Investigate for duct system failure in unconditioned areas.  Evaluate duct insulation and sealant.

Use infrared thermal imaging to support building analysis.

We will give you a written report identifying the steps you can take to have the greatest impact on reducing your energy usage.

An optional addition to an energy audit is a pressure test of the duct system.  This allows us to measure the HVAC system leakage in unconditioned areas.
